EVERY SPORT COUNTS
One app for every sport you do
Complete starts from your goals, not from a plan. You pick the goals you want to work toward for years, and every workout that reaches Apple Health counts, whether it’s a run, a gym session or a padel match. Each day Complete recommends what to do next from your goals, your recovery and your recent training. When you have a race, it writes a plan for it and builds the week around the sports you already play.
Your goals come first
When you join, Complete asks for your goals, not a plan: build muscle, lose fat, improve cardio, get stronger, general health, or become an athlete. The goals screen says: “Not a plan. These are your forever goals. They steer what Complete recommends every day.”
There are four ways to work toward them, and you don’t need all four. Train your own way and it counts. Follow the recommendation for each day. Take on Roads, Complete’s ladders of targets, with your friends. And when there’s a race, let Complete write the plan.
Everything you do counts
Workouts come in from Apple Health, so anything your watch records there counts. You can also import FIT files, track a run with your phone or log a session by hand.
Every sport earns points toward your score on the leaderboards, and your training feeds the recommendation for the next day. A hard football match and an easy yoga class don’t weigh the same in your training load, so Complete doesn’t count them the same.
Any watch counts
Any watch that writes to Apple Health counts, so you don’t need a particular brand. Garmin, COROS, Polar and Suunto data arrives through Apple Health. Complete has no native connection to any of the four.
You don’t need a watch. Runs tracked with your phone, FIT imports and sessions you log all count. The recovery score does need a wearable. Without one there is no score, but the morning check-in on how you feel still shapes the day.
If your tracker is missing, email support@ccomplete.app and we’ll do our best to add it. We can’t promise a date.
| Where it comes from | How it gets in | What Complete uses |
|---|---|---|
| Apple Watch, Garmin, COROS, Polar, Suunto | Through Apple Health | Workouts, plus whatever your watch writes there: heart rate, HRV (the small variation in time between your heartbeats), resting heart rate, breathing rate, sleep, VO2max (the most oxygen your body can use during hard effort), steps, routes and body metrics |
| FIT file | You import the file | The workout in the file |
| Your phone | You track a run in the app | The run |
| A session you log | You log it by hand, exercise by exercise | The distance of each run and the weight and reps of each lift |
| Official Hyrox results | You paste your own results.hyrox.com link, or add a screenshot or your times | The Hyrox Roads move from your official results |
| WHOOP and Oura | A native connection | Recovery and sleep only, not workouts |
| Strava | No connection | A Strava workout counts if it also reaches Apple Health |
| Android | Complete is an iPhone app | Not available on Android |
When you have a race
Complete writes three kinds of plan: running, Hyrox and general fitness. If you pick “my sport”, you get the general fitness plan. A season with several races (Hyrox, marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K or ultra) goes through a season planner, so all of them sit in one plan.
Tell Complete you play padel on Thursdays and the week is built around it, with one fewer generated session. The padel session shows up in your week as its own entry, marked as an external activity that Complete didn’t write. No run lands on the padel day, and Complete’s plan tests check exactly that.
Each weekly activity on a training day takes one generated session off that week. Complete keeps at least two sessions of its own, and at least three in running and general fitness plans. An activity you do every other week goes on alternate weeks. You pick from 21 listed activities, including padel, football and yoga, or type in your own.
What’s coming next
Padel and golf already have their own Roads: you enter your padel level or golf handicap and climb from there, next to your friends. Cycling and triathlon training come in 2027. Until then, your rides and swims already count toward your score, your training load and the recommendation for each day.
Missing a sport, or want something to work differently? Email support@ccomplete.app. What you tell us goes straight into what we build next.
How the plan keeps up with you
Your paces update every Monday from the runs you log, and sessions you did differently are absorbed as they happen. On a day your recovery score is red, today’s session turns into rest or an easy one, and the rest of the week stays as it is.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a training plan to use Complete?
No. Set your goals and train your way: every workout that reaches Apple Health counts, and Complete recommends what to do each day. Add a plan when you have a race.
Does my sport count if Complete doesn’t write plans for it?
Yes. Any workout that reaches Apple Health earns points toward your score and feeds the recommendation for the next day. If you follow a plan, add the sport as a recurring activity and the week is built around it.
Can Complete write my cycling or triathlon training?

What if I only play a sport every other week?
